Welcome to my Knowledge base, Yesterday I got a query regarding landing page creation. This is about the same.

Here’s the query “Can we create landing page using WordPress for one of my client whose main website is on HTML? If yes, I’m unable to do so. Please help.

Since we all know the necessity of an appealing landing page for paid campaigns. Talking about the marketing funnel, it’s landing pages that convince visitors to consider a brand, a product/service and hence plays a vital role in widening the consideration chamber of marketing funnel.

It’s impossible to be omniscient, but sometimes it becomes our necessity to be at some extent. I can’t code in HTML or CSS but what if it is possible to create an awesome landing page for my upcoming campaign with a really quick drag and drop method, let me explore and see if I can get it done without following up with developer or so.

Although I’m well versed with WordPress Can I get it done on my own? (His thought that rose this query.)

And the answer is YES! You Can.

All you need to do is to have CPANEL / Hosting credentials.

Here’s the process:

1. Login to your website’s CPANEL.
2. Search for Softaculous Installer and click on WordPress.
3. Click Install Now.
4. Fill in the details, Put your landing page name in “In Directory”. For eg: If you are creating a landing page for a XYZ product, then put XYZ in “In Directory” and hence your landing page url will be www.yourdomainname.com/XYZ.
5. Note down your admin id and password for future.
6. Click Install (At the Bottom).
7. There you go. It’s done.

Now you can customise your landing page www.yourdomainname.com/XYZ using wp themes and plugins as per your convenience.
